Project description
Goal: Engage high school students in a year-long storytelling project that deepens their understanding of success and how to achieve it.
Story Collecting:
- 33-session multi-media curriculum package with handouts, teacher guides and evaluation rubrics, tied to Common Core standards
- teacher training and ongoing support
- project design, management and facilitation
- exploration of storytelling, interviewing, and creative expression
Story Sharing:

- Book of students’ stories on the topic of success: True Side of Me: The Untold Success Stories of Our Lives
- Portfolio and exhibit of artistic expressions
- Personal journals on the topic of success
- Community book release celebration
